About Us
Adams Custom Slide Shows is located in Mahomet, Illinois...just outside
Champaign-Urbana. Having been in business since early 2004, we've grown
and thrived at a phenomenal rate with the help of the media and some
very talented partners, including associate producer Tamatha Crowson of Joplin, Missouri.
Over time, we've acquired some of the most advanced high-end software available in our industry, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Encore, CoolEdit Pro, Sony Acid, and Sony Vegas. Our office is home based in a peaceful prairie location, diligently watched over by God, C-U Security Systems Inc, and our sometimes over-zealous German Shepherd, Bo. Our Web site was designed by David's sister Darlene, owner of Darlene's Distinct Design in Dallas, Texas. We recently received a 'Preferred Site' Award from the American Bridal Association.
History
David Adams, company owner and primary editor, has a long background
of creativity in numerous and diverse areas. He was lead
singer/songwriter in a band called SCREAMS on MCA/Infinity Records in
the late 70's and early 80's, and performed all across the United States, Canada, and England with a number of prominent bands including Van
Halen, Joan Jett, Iggy Pop, Devo, The Ramones, The J. Geils Band, David JoHansen, Ritchie Blackmore, and Bo Diddley. They appeared on BBC Television to promote their British tour and the album they recorded at the Record Plant in Sausalito, California. You may download some of the SCREAMS album by clicking HERE. After
the demise of the band, he wrote and performed several commercials for
Nyquil, The San Diego Soccers, and numerous automobile franchises.
Reluctant to abandon his creative instincts, he and his wife, Becky
decided to find a way to use their talents to touch the lives of
others. What you see here is the result.
Mission Statement
It is our goal to treat every project as if it were for our own family,
taking great pains to see and execute the clients' vision regardless of
the extra time and effort which this may require. We pledge to serve in
